ELDERLY FOUNDATION LIVESTREAM 2021
Our client in this project was the charityorganization ‘Ik weet dat jij het weet’ (I know, that you Know), founded byartists for the entertainment of lonely elderly people in nursing homes. Theorganization host concerts in the homes in front of the communities livingthere for amusement and solidarity. With the covid pandemic still ongoing at thetime we were asked to host and produce a project that enabled the organizationand its affiliated artists to carry out the much-needed shows without bringingthe elderly people in danger by going into the nursing homes. That is why weproduced a major Livestream event that brought the artists to hundreds of elderlypeople without making physical contact.
For this livestream we used an old disco as a stageand build our set-up around it, containing multiple moving camera angles andsound installation. With a stream that lasted almost two hours, we had toprepare ourselves to switch to a lot of different scenes which also contained ascene outside of the disco. We were requested to make a live connectionwith a host in one of the nursing homes that would talk about the atmosphere atthe location, requiring a real-time link with the stage for the artist to askthe presenter questions about the situation there. Besides the real-time‘phone’ connection we also managed to implement images from locations live intothe stream, portraying the reactions of the elderly people watching the livestream. A feat of technical strength dedicated to a good cause.

Together with ambassadors from both organizations we wrote a script thatserved the needs of AMT. The production was to be used asa trailer that would activate students to join the famous automotive contestthat AMT organizes each year. We set our mind on a trailer thatwould showcase two automotive students that would serve as the solution for astruggling race team, targeting the audience and giving examples for future jobprospects of you are on an expertise level that can win the competition.
